The Treasure Hunters - Episode 4 - REVISITED!

Diggin' in Virginia III - Day 1 REVISITED!

With DIV IV right around the corner, I thought y'all would enjoy re-living DIV III.
This episode takes us to the invitational relic hunt known as Diggin' in Virginia.
Here we dive into the adventure known as Civil War hut digging. During the Winter months of the War, the Union troops would construct virtual villages by digging out huts and building shanty shacks on top. Many of these homes away from home even had fireplaces. By the end of the war these homes had fallen into disrepair. Many were burned and covered over. This created a time capsule of soldier life. Now, over 140 years later, we attempt to locate these huts and preserve the historical artifacts contained within them. So, join us on our journey to the past. Let's see what we can uncover.
